Red Mountain Drilling Commences

Acero-Martin Exploration Inc.'s drilling is under way at its Red Mountain gold project, 55 kilometres northwest of Mayo, Yukon. The drilling will test the Midway zone where drilling during 2003 and 2004 returned positive results. Highlights of the 2004 drill results are:

Approximately 1,500 metres of drilling is planned in four to five holes. The objective of this year's program is to expand the mineralization in the Midway zone and to determine the orientation of the gold-bearing structures by using core-oriented drilling.

The 2005 exploration program will include a property scale magnetic and radiometric survey. The survey will also cover the Regent claims which adjoin the company's Ice claims immediately to the north and northeast. Acero has the option to earn 50 per cent of the Regent claims by spending $1.5-million over three years. Anomalous zones will be followed up by further prospecting and mapping.

The company has budgeted $750,000 for the 2005 exploration program on the Red Mountain property. The project is managed by Aurum Geological under the direction of Al Doherty, PEng, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101.
